I have some really exciting news! It’s here - I’ve launched a new website and it’s called Alpha Papa.
As an expectant Dad, I struggle to find somewhere online to find support. For example, answers to the type of questions you’re embarrassed to ask at the midwife appointments, how to support your partner during pregnancy, and what to do when the baby actually arrives. Those type of questions!
One thing I have found is there’s loads of support out there for Mums (with forums on Mumsnet and Netmums etc), however, there really isn’t much for Fathers and fathers-to-be.
With that in mind, I decided to launch Alpha Papa. It has a news and knowledge area, but my main focus is the forum. It’s a place for Dads to ask advice, and other Dads to respond with their help and advice. That way, Alpha Papa will become a place moulded around those who use it.
Also, we’re keen to get other Dads on-board to write in the knowledge area of the site. This is a place for Dads to find articles on parenting and fatherhood.
Fancy taking a look? Head on over to Alpha Papa right now. See what’s happening in the forums and learn how you can play an active role by becoming a contributor on the site.
