Read my Savisto juicer review which also comes with blending and grinding attachments to make it a multifunctional juicer.
The Savisto 4-in-1 juicer comes with a blender, grinder, meat grinder attachment and the juicer itself. The base unit has a 800 watt motor and there are 4 variable speeds and a pulse function.
The Juicer
The juicer comes with a large juicing net and large shoot which is handy if you don’t want to chop up all of those fruit and vegetables. The jug that comes with the juicer can hold just over 1 litres worth of juice.
Juice extraction seems pretty reasonable and the good thing is you can vary the speed depending on the softness of your fruit or veg. The machine is quite quiet when juicing and the large shoot means whole apples fit through it.
I made a juice using 2 celery sticks, ½ cucumber, 1 carrot and 1 apple. The machine made just over 300ml of juice. It’s also worth noting the juicer has a large waste bin as well.
The Grinder
I tested the grinder attachment on the Savisto 4-in-1 juicer by grinding some coffee beans. The base of the grinder does seem to be made from some pretty basic plastic. However, the cup on the other hand does seem fairly durable.
I did struggle a little to get the base onto the cup but got there in the end. The grinder fits onto the base unit easily and you can set whatever speed you need to do the grinding.
After 10-20 seconds of grinding, the machine had done a really good job of finely grinding the coffee beans.
The Meat Grinder
Again, similar story regarding the quality of plastic on the base and lid, however the plastic the cup is made from still seems fairly durable.
I grinded some chicken breasts and followed the directions in the manual by adding some oil and seasoning.
Over a medium speed, the grinder did a good job of chopping the chicken until nice and smooth.
The Blender
The lid and base are made from the same materials as the meat grinder and the bowl has a capacity of 1.5 litres. I used the blender to make my favourite smoothie. Consisting of 1 apple, frozen chopped pineapple, frozen raspberries, 1 banana and apple juice.
When powering on the blender, it did struggle to mix all the ingredients so it did require some manual mixing with a spatula between blends to get it going. After which, it did start to blend fine and I was left with a nice smooth smoothie.
In conclusion
If you’re not fussed about some of the more basic parts on the Savisto 4-in-1 juicer, then it is still pretty functional. It grinds dry foods and meats well and as a juice and blender, it’s more entry level.
The parts aren’t dishwasher safe, however it is only retailing at £64.99 so I think it’s definitely good value for money for what you get.
