Learn how to cook salmon in a pan and how you can fry it in its own oil for a lovely crisp finish. Try with my Salmon Salad recipe.
- Firstly, place a non-stick pan over a high heat on the hob and drizzle in some oil.
- When hot, carefully place your salmon fillet in the pan.
- Salmon gives off quiet a bit of oil, so if you have a good quality non-stick pan, you won’t need much oil beforehand.
- Keep flipping the salmon until it’s nice and golden and crisp on all sides.
- When cooked, checked the salmon is not raw in the middle and then serve.
Tip! Cooking a stir-fry? Use the oils from the salmon to fry the vegetables whilst keeping the salmon hot in aluminium foil.
