Learn how to clean your stove top burner so it’s gleaming like it’s brand new. Suitable only for cleaning a gas stove top with stainless steel finish.
- Begin by removing the rack from the top of the stove, along with all the parts from each burner.
- Use a dry cloth to remove any debris that may be on top of the stove.
- Spray the stovetop with antibacterial cleaner and wipe clean.
- Using brasso (or other metal cleaner), shake well and apply to a clean dry cloth.
- Apply to the top of the stove in circular motions, using different/unused part of the cloth as you go to ensure it’s clean when applying.
- Leave for approx 10 minutes to allow the polish to do its thing.
- In the meantime use hot, soapy water to clean the rack and burner parts until all the grease and burnt bits are removed.
- When the polish has turned cloudy and is dry all over, get another clean cloth and start buffering off the polish. Again, keep using clean parts of the cloth as you go.
- Ensure you remove all the polish so there is no burning when the gas burners are on.
- Dry the burner parts and rack then place back on the stove. And finally, ensure all burners are working correctly.
