Lets be honest - you can’t beat perfectly cooked, crispy bacon as part of a full fry up - especially here in the UK. Here I show you how to bake bacon in the oven with hardly any mess to clean up afterwards.
- Start by preheating the oven to 200c/400f.
- Line an oven tray with aluminum foil then lay on the bacon. To make it healthier, place a wire rack on the foil-lined tray and place the bacon on the rack.
- Put the bacon in the oven for 10-15 minutes until the bacon is as crispy as you like it. The great thing about baking bacon is you don’t need to turn it when cooking.
- Remove from the oven and if required, place on kitchen towel to absorb some of the grease (this may especially be the case with streaky bacon).
- Then your perfectly cooked bacon is ready to serve and enjoy.
