Roast Parsnips Recipe
- 500g Parsnips
- 50g Honey
- Oil (to roast)
- Salt & Pepper
Directions
My honey roast parsnips recipe tastes great roasted in the oven, and is an essential homemade side for Christmas dinner.
- Preheat the oven to 210c/410f.
- Pour some oil in a roasting dish and heat in the oven.
- Meanwhile, peel the parsnips and chop into chunks (keeping them all the same size).
- Boil the chopped parsnips in water for 4 minutes then drain.
- Add the parsnips and honey to the hot roasting dish and season well with salt and pepper.
- Roast for 45 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking.
- When lovely and golden and crispy, serve straight from the oven and enjoy.
