So you think you’ve had a meat feast pizza before? You ain’t seen nothing yet! If you want the best pizza you’ve ever tasted, you need to try this recipe for the weekend.
Not only is this crammed full of, well, whatever you want, its a monster of a pizza, tastes absolutely fantastic and works out a whole log cheaper than a shop/restaurant bought pizza.
You’ll never turn back to the greasy, poor excuses of an over-the-counter pizza after you’ve cooked one of these!

So I was on my bi-weekly trip to the supermarket and decided that I really wanted some steak. However, I often struggle to cook it so it tastes REALLY good (in my opinion) – we’re talking restaurant standard here!
So anyway, I wondered the isles and ended up getting some parma ham (among other things). One thing led to another and I ended up wrapping my steak with parma ham with crushed garlic, herbage and pepper between the steak and ham. AND IT TASTED GREAT!
The ham keeps the steak nice and juicy and you can cram loads of flavour between the ham and steak. It’s such an easy way to jazz up a piece of meat that I can’t believe I haven’t thought of this before!
And why stop with steak. You could wrap chicken or absolutely anything up to give it that fine cuisine standard!

So I often find it difficult to get my 5-a-day fix at my desk. So with some left over natural yogurt (low fat of course!) from dinner a couple of nights ago, I threw in some raspberries, kiwi fruit and banana and left it in the fridge.
I must say as a non-liker of natural yogurt, it tasted superb and is dead easy to eat in the office (no mess). It also fills you up a right treat.

So I was wondering down the meat isle of my local supermarket in search of the ‘Good for you’ version of beef mince meat. There was none left and the closest alternative was £3 for 500g. I gazed over at the poultry section where my eyes stumbled across turkey mince meat – 500g charged at £1.60.
I was amazed. Not only was it (basically) half the price. Turkey mince is a whole lot better for you as well. After a few quick Google searches, I found these comparisons per 100g:
|
Beef |
Turkey |
Fat |
20.3g |
5.4g |
Protein |
24g |
22g |
I have already cooked a turkey lasagne and I must say that it tasted a lot better. It was far less dry than previous beef lasagne experiences.
So I say – TURKEY IS THE WAY FORWARD, it’s a no brainer! Equally as much protein, 75% less fat and tastes better.

Well it’s been a while since the last blog post, but I’m back in business. Summers on its way and I’m going to think up some good old Summer and BBQ recipes for the few days of hot weather coming our way this year!
The website has been re-designed (again) hopefully for the better. Tweaking issues are nearly all ironed out so it will be up and running fully shortly.
It’s also great to see the positive comments starting to come through on YouTube comments. Keep posting, and don’t forget to post comments on the website as well.
Stay tuned as I’m now really pushing to get a ton of recipes on the website.
Get your cupboards stocked!
