How to separate egg yolk with a bottle

It's always a messy job and if you're trying to find out how to separate egg yolks without getting your hands dirty, I'll show you how to separate egg yolk with a bottle. It's simple and easy to do and you're left with a nice clean egg yolk and egg white.

1. Break your egg into a bowl.
2. Get an empty plastic bottle (Coke/Lemonade or similar) and hover it over the egg yolk.
3. Press the bottle with two hands, allowing some of the air to escape.
4. Carefully place the spout of the bottle on top of the yolk and slowly release the bottle from between your hands.
5. The yolk will slowly get sucked up into the bottle.
6. Release the yolk from the bottle by slowly squeezing the bottle whilst it's upright over a separate bowl. The egg yolk should pop out.
