Coleslaw Recipe
- 1 Green Cabbage
- 1/2 Red Cabbage
- 3 Spring Onions
- 3 Carrots
- 10 tbsp Low Fat Mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp French Mustard
- Salt & Pepper (to season)
Directions
You can't beat the taste of fresh, home made coleslaw. My coleslaw recipe is really simple to make with just a few ingredients. It's also perfect to use as a salad for when you're barbecuing in the Summer - Enjoy!
- Firstly, get a large sharp knife and finely slice the Green and Red Cabbage, then add to a large mixing bowl.
- Finely slice the Spring Onions then add to the bowl with the Cabbage.
- Peel the skin off the Carrots then, using a grater, grate the carrots into the mixing bowl.
- Thoroughly mix the contents of the bowl together and check you're happy with the variety of colours and amount of vegetables.
- Mix in the Mayonnaise and Mustard, thoroughly stir everything together then serve.
