Directions
If you're craving something sweet, or a cheeky snack to fill you up, flapjacks never fail! This Flapjack Recipe definitely hits the spot and is really simple to prepare and cook - it's just a case of combining all of the ingredients, then baking in the oven. Follow these directions for the perfect flapjack:
- Either in a saucepan or in the microwave, melt the Butter, Peanut Butter and Golden Syrup over a low heat.
- Meanwhile, pour the rest of the dry ingredients into a large mixing bowl (Crushed Nuts, Sugar, Bicarbonate of Soda, Flour and Oats).
- When the Butter, Peanut Butter and Golden Syrup have melted together into a liquid, pour into the bowl of dry ingredients.
- Thoroughly mix everything together in the bowl until it's thoroughly combined.
- Line an oven dish with greaseproof paper and pour in the Flapjack mixture.
- Finally, cook in the oven on 170c for between 25 - 35 minutes (or until the top begins to turn golden and crispy).
