Directions
Despite appearances when you're making them, this Cookie Recipe tastes great - using Peanut Butter and Nutella to flavour the cookies. You could almost mistake them for Snickers Cookies! So here goes...
- Add the Flour, Bicarbonate of Soda and a pinch of Salt to a mixing bowl - loosely mix.
- Whisk the 2 Eggs then pour into the bowl and loosely mix with a folk.
- Break up the butter and add to the bowl, along with the Brown Sugar, Caster Sugar, Vanilla Essence, Nutella and Peanut Butter.
- It's a messy job, but you'll now need to mix everything together until your cookie dough is formed.
- Flatten out 2 small balls of the dough (per cookie) and lay onto grease proof paper. Sprinkle the smashed up Smarties onto the cookies.
- Put the cookies into a 200c oven for 15-20 minutes (or until cooked).
- Meanwhile, mix some Icing Sugar and a dash of water with some more Nutella to use as a spread (making an almost butter icing).
- When the Cookies are baked, spread the Nutella & Icing Sugar mix between two cookies and sandwich together.
